SWOH (Sovereign Wings of Hope) is a 501 c(3) nonprofit interdenominational organization founded by Christian hospice professionals who desire to utilize their talents, skills, gifts and resources to minister to improvised community persons; rebuilding them, and equipping young adults and professionals to be future world changers in obedience to Matthew. 25:34-40. Acts 1:8
Misssion
We are committed to empowering young adults and professionals into emerging world changers through spiritual and humanitarian efforts in Ugandan communities.
Our Objectives:
- Hospice ministry - Hospice Jinja and Hospice Tororo are our Hospice programs strategically placed to service palliative care and extend medical services in the 4 million populous of Eastern Uganda starting in Jinja.
- Bugembe Women and Orphans ministry – A ministry dedicated to servicing and witnessing to the underprivileged community in Bugembe.
- Community Transformation Projects (CTPs) - CTPs are mission trips geared to take young adults and professionals, equip them with cross cultural skills, and empower them to make a long lasting difference in a targeted Ugandan community.
- Medical Exchange Program (MEPs) - We invite an exchange of culture, knowledge, and training to allocate resources and volunteers to the understaffed or underfunded regions and further spread education about Uganda.
- Wings of Hope Youth Outreach - Spreading the Good news of Christ Jesus to Uganda Young adults using camps, conferences, and teaching .
Our Goals :
- Provide community transformation in Ugandan communities
- Develop young adult and professionals skills, and talents
- Provide cross cultural health care education for Uganda communities
- Mobilize financial, material and personnel resources to implement mission objectives
